Grade 6 English
A full-year, skill-building Grade 6 English course designed to develop confident readers, clear writers, and accurate speakers. The course progresses from foundational reading strategies (main idea, theme, point of view, text structure) through literary analysis and informational comprehension, then to focused vocabulary work (affixes, roots, context), and culminates in writing craft, argumentation, editing, research, and grammar-mechanics mastery. Each chapter contains practice-focused lessons, model examples, and short assessments so students can apply strategies independently and prepare for middle-school level reading and writing tasks.
